This is the brand new Bryant Park hillclimb complex at Yallourn in the Latrobe Valley.
TruEnergy paid for most of the construction, because they took over the old Morwell Hillclimb to get at the coal underneath it. It's really more like a small racetrack than a hillclimb.
After breaking an axle in Geelong earlier this year, I'm a bit nervous of driving to events far from Melbourne, so we towed the MG behind my 3RB.
It was very wet on the Sunday morning, and very slippery on the track.
These videos show my very first run and my fourth run. You can see I was ten seconds quicker in the dry!
(These are BIG files, be patient if you don't have a super fast connection!)
Run-1 (slippery as hell 1:21.0) 35MB
Run-4 (starting to dry 1:11.1) 33MB
If the MP4 file doesn't work for you try this DIVX one: Run-1 36MB
