Agree mate! At least one car manufacturer has some fun making ads... Can't say the same for Ford or Holden!!

The Ford and Holden ads are just showing what their cars look like and why you should buy it, atleast toyota want to make an ad that everyone will remember cause as soon as someone says Kilowatts alot of ppl think of the Rav 4 ad

I see your point. Sometimes it's all 'about' the car though, whilst not clearly being 'on' the car. Eg, the ad I posted is all about 'must' have it. If that makes sense.

don't get me wrong. Their Hilux "bugger" ads were all fantastic. They focussed on the power and toughness aspect they wanted the Hilux to be known for. That Rav4 ad wasn't too bad for the reason you mention but the "killerwasps" :roll:

The Killerwasps is the older Rav 4 ad..., But what im talking about is Toyota try to make it funny everytime i see the new toyota ads they get funnier. kinda like this one:
