Opinions on 07 Lib

Postby Rosso » Wed Oct 11, 2006 9:34 pm

Hey guys,

Just interested to see what others opinions on the 07' lib are. I was impressed with the gt-b i tested. It looks hot, seats felt softer & more comfy than last model despite less bolstering, stereo sounded bassier & the ride & performance was good too although it didn't quite have the turbo kick the previous model had. What do you guys think? Im keen to hear from the lucky owners, have ya used S# yet? what do ya reckon?
Cheers,

Rosso.

Ive driven the new gt spec b and i liked it, but i couldnt say i like it that much more than my my05 3rb, si drive is nice, the new wheels look great and the car rides considerably smoother.

All they have done is take an excellent car and further more improve it, i am not 100% sure if the new styling is a step foward but it is growing on me.

Hey Andrew,

Agreed with Burgs, Taken a excellent car and improved it.

I cant tell u the comparison from the older GTs as I have never driven a stock nor any for that matter. But u definately feel the S# !!!

Response is very smooth yet agressive used. Hard to sorta explain. I can take u for a ride to feel the diff.

Well it is heaver. slower but probably a better built car than the outgoing model. A bigger turbo would give it some more street cred 8)

Haven't had a chance to drive one yet, but that rear bar just hasn't grown on me yet.

I have to admit, I wasn't convinced on the rear bar and the wheels. The wheels in the flesh looks awesome as the Subaru pics didnt do it justice. The rear bar gives it that sporty touch i think with the vents. Shame they dont serve an ACTUAL purpose, but I think they look good in black as they stand out in every other colour.

Take one for a drive you will be pleasently suprised, they have ironed out a few problems from the initial gen iv lib.

The styling hasnt grown on me 110% because i think the initial liberty is just hot and the styling to me is a step back in some ways, but with time it will grow on me, there is no doubt of it, i am particularly keen to see phils beast.
