Firstly, a really BIG THANK U to Phat & Jim for making all this possible!!
As Jim has already mentioned, I was out there yesterday getting the wagon fitted up. And after watching Phat at work, I realise what a slow & strenuous process it is to measure up the mufflers & making them sit in position before repeating the entire step & matching up the other side. This process requires alot of patience to get right, as the slightest movement will affect the final fit & placement of each side.
With much anticipation amongst wagon owners, the good news is that the wait will finally be over soon as Phat now has a complete sample ready to go, and will be able to prepare the new jig. Once the jig is made, I'm sure we will start to see these rolling off the production line in no time!
I have to say I was extremely happy with the overall fit & placement of each muffler. The result was very pleasing as they sat perfectly symmetrical and the muffler body & tips are well integrated with the rest of the rear bar.
After hours of testing & fitting was completed to make the samples, I was lucky enough to be able to driveaway with my very own complete set yesterday
Hang in there wagon owners, there is a dawn on the horizon!
