Great job organising this one, Trieu. :D A simple 'meet to catch up' ended up with a huge turn out ... despite the crap weather! Imagine the turn out if the weather was good!

Pics sound good! Sorry I couldn't stay for it! Although I wanted to debute the smoked taillights, it's better I missed it since my car was filthy. :?

Hey Guys.

You interested in combining with the OzLiberty / SubyClub monthly meet?

We normally have ours first Wednesday of every month, but I would love to see a bigger turn out and would be more than happy to reschedule things to suit other clubs.

I've been wanting to try and get rexnet in on a big monthly meet too, I reckon it would be fantastic to have a monster meet once every while (maybe even every month, ha ha) and really show hooters we mean (subaru) business :)

Thoughts would be appreciated.

Dylan

Buddy, meets aren't only about cars.... it's about meeting peeps face to face too.

Take Wasabi... He's got the caddy wagon this time round :) :)

BUT Each to their own I guess....

LOL trust me mate i know...i had my car off the road for ages before this current rebuild. I always try my best to get out to meets, whatever car i'm driving.

I've only had my car out to hooters once in the last 6 Suby Club/Ozliberty meets. I've taken a Tida, Corolla, Pug 306, Avalon and a Rav 4 twice. I've only missed a couple in over two years but if you saw the Hiace i was driving last night you'd know why i wasn't going to drive it from Dee Why to Parramatta and back in the wet. It is a serious POS... :P

ps: If you check out under my username on subyclub, one of the admins has changed my title to "Drives everything but a Subaru" hahaha

This is me at the Feb meet (i even sticky taped a rex scoop onto the hood to make it feel more suby!!): Image

Hope you all had a good time and i'm definitely up to make out next time :)

Great night guys………good too see the usual suspects and new faces.

Great to see our support vehicle, upon inspections its got plenty of room to be our track day transporter……

And for the guys and gals (mano your the other gal) from newy…great effort, I see ang was the smart one driving down in her own car…….. I would have done the same, being stuck in a car with mano would have been hard work……. CJ how did you do it……lol

Mano I heard those chicken wings taste better when hot……….

Hi all,

It was a great forum meet last night. Thanks to Trieu for organising everything and it was also nice to finally meet you, mate! Your car is awesome by the way.

It was good to finally put names and faces together hahaha as I mentioned to D_Liberty, gtspec, Ethan, birch_security, Bob, Trieu, Wasabi and those that were around my side of the table. This is the first real car club (I was in a Lancer Club but that doesn't count :P ) that I have been involved with and I must say that the people that were there last night was very friendly and easy going. It was good to see everyone admiring each other's cars whether it is turbo or N/As and any kind of mods, wheels, stereos etc....it was good to see that we were all there due to one thing in common, as fellow Subaru Liberty Enthusiasts.

So to all of you thank you for a great night, even though it was a bit of a trek to get there (not as far as the Newy Boys & Girls), it was well worth it, I truly enjoyed speaking to each one of you and perving at all your hot cars

Thanks for the Newy guys for making it all the way there, to Chris, it was finally nice to meet you, matey.....your car looks good too....I wished you put the Chromies though so I won't be such a loner with my 20s there hahahaha

Thanks, guys and look forward to seeing you all next time. Happy Modding!

P.S. Noozl, your car is awesome, mate! I wished mine had that much bass pumping (mine is more on clarity and treble). Awesome job on the sound system!

Thanks for the good night guys, although I was only there for the carpark meetup. Was good to see all the old familiar faces.

Lucky I wasn't there for the stereo pumping

Made me want to buy another GT 8)
