Hey Will,
I hope you don't mind. I ripped it out of your hosting and put it up for all to see! Nice pic! 8)

hah yeh for those roads more than a 2 second gap is probably needed. first drive around those roads with myself behind the wheel, so wasn't used to the conditions nor want to push it too much..

Sorry 'bout the number of shots Sentinel, was mainly playing around :P

I'll say this though, I was ringing the nuts off the little NA2.5 keeping up, but I think I did well. My sis lives in sassafras so I'm kinda familiar with the roads. Fun though pushing it. Would have been nice to do the run with the original bridge 050's then compare to the mich P2's.

mind you... who heard my clutch as we moved out of Cardinia? I know I was talking to a few about it... makes a weird shreak when taking off sometimes (moreso when pushing it hard).

but all in all, kudo's to Al for a great day.

Tangcla: still sorry you missed it? :D

Will

ps... anyone who wants to rip the shots from my site, feel welcome as I uploaded the full-sized photos (click on the link top-left of the photo with the dimensions) :)

Having done the recce run on this one, how was the time split of the 2 parts?

Also, did people with manuals find that you lived in 3rd gear?

i heard it as we were leaving the car park at cardinia, although i think thats more due to having more revs and holding the clutch at friction point for too long

Will, I heard it from wwwaaaaaaaayyyyy back were I was... haha!

Nah, seriously, the only thing I heard was Danny's on WOT and occasionally smelt Dutch's clutch! Oh, and someones brakes were cooking at some point too - I know mine where at one stage.

As for 3rd gear - I've got a 6er and actually found that I used 2,3,4 with no real sitting a particular gear - fair bit of heel-toeing too - fun stuff!

Ah, till next time...

Oh yeah, another thing that has been plaguing my mind.

Something that Sentinel said at Cardinia . . . .

. . . . Blue Toyota Hilux

. . . . Hope there are no surpises coming in the mail

If pace was on par from the recce, then yes, I was wondering about those possibilities. Far too many opportunities for going >3km/h over the limit, (down hill of course) ;)
