sooo.... how is it Adam? you have the same spec car as me, Im really interested in how it feels now? did you get a tune too?

no tune (i can't frickin' wait )
i was a bit focussed on the fact that i was running late, there was extra noise from the mufflers and the fact that my wife was uninformed yet observant
but having said all that, jim could have put up this rather than this to better reflect my actual expression
i'll get a chance to give it more of a slap-up on thursday.

ok, so tonight i finally got a chance to give the car a decent slap-up with my new P3 dp and mufflers...
does anyone remember that movie that jim carrey does the over the top hip thrusts punctuated with "YES.. YES.. YES!!!!".... thats kinda how i feel
my wife had discoverd on the day that i'd had something done to the car so i told her it was just the mufflers.
later that evening when she first started it up she shot me a look that, although i didn't know exactly what it meant, i was pretty sure it started with "you idiot..." shes pretty good about these things and i'm pretty sure that in a year or 4 shes hardly gonna hear the changes

Adam, after about 2 months I can't even notice the extra bit of noise that the DP generates anymore. Same for the mufflers. Hardly even registers (the intake on the other hand .... ). Pretty used to the overall noise level now, as it seems 2nd nature for the car.

Now for the uninitiated, well, the missus has describe the noise to be practically 'industrial'.

** UPDATE AS OF MONDAY APRIL 13TH **

This is pretty much a repeat of the muffler update. But thanks to everyone for your continued patience. The long Easter weekend has seen production pretty much slow

Unfortunately Phat had to go overseas for an emergency business trip for a few days. However he has promised once he returns production for everything (mufflers, centre pipe, and dump pipe) will go into full swing as he wants to get everything done as quickly as possible. He understands everyone has been waiting for quite a long time so he's going to get it done.

Oh, I've also temporarily closed off the group buy to give Phat some breathing room and catch up with the current orders. Otherwise it's not fair to people already in the queue.

Totally understandable James! I would be too! But the Easter long weekend and Phat's emergency business trip overseas setback production by a week or two. He's hoping to catch up by this week for dumps, centres, and mufflers.

** UPDATE AS OF TUESDAY APRIL 28TH **

All, thanks again for your continued patience. Phat has been working hard to finish the dump pipes this week. I'm happy to report he has produced x9 manual dump pipes and x2 auto dump pipes. They are going to be ceramic coating tomorrow and should be ready for pick-up shipping by end of week.

I think at the pace things are going, we may have to ship out each part/batch as they are finished. Otherwise if we try to wait for the entire system to be completed before shipping out, the people that just ordered 1 component will be waiting a while.

I will confirm with Phat tomorrow on getting the dumps shipped out as soon as they are ready, along with any mufflers that get produced this week.

Dwayne, quite a few folks in WA!

You've got the mufflers + dump, Ollie (olliej) has mufflers, James (TorpedoCreative) has the dump, and Mo (Mo_GT) has the dump pipe as well. Since it's only x2 mufflers I'll try to get them all out at once for your batch.

As for the canons I've been struggling to find time to have them fitted, so I've asked for a Sydney based volunteer to come in and have them fitted on his Lib for testing and sound clips.
