Got mine fitted today....OH MY GOSH...they sound and look awesome!! I can't stop driving my car. PHAT was also happy with the result....as he was worried with my car being the only 2.0R that is getting a set of these. I don't have any good video recorder at home as such, so will show you guys in one of the next meets. Just want to say a big THANK YOU to Phat for the mufflers and Jim for organising the buy! :lol:

did you get a single can or pop out the insert on the right hand side for the second muff?

Mine is a 2.0R so I have the dual exhaust set up as well so the mufflers that I got are the same as the rest of others....GT, STi, 3.0R! Can't stop driving it hahaha...

Update …sound test

The system with phat dp, centre pipe and quads was 84bd at 75% throttle and 89bd on back off, but these reading where taken whilst the car was still on the hoist and also inside a large warehouse, also the centre pipe was only the mock up one made of mild steel, the stainless one should be a little quieter.

These reading surprised the us all, as the quad tips have high flow then the canons but a not as loud, this system should be legal …….

Subie Boy - Sounds great Brian! Great to hear you're loving the sound and the mufflers. The hardest critic should be you, and if you like it then that's all that counts! I think there were quite a few of us worried with you being the only 2.0 NA, so it's great to see it was a success!

Senator - Thanks for the update, Tony! Sorry you were stuck staying late that night! Hope they were able to remove all those Frankenstein hook ups on your car! Err, you didn't mention whether you decided to stick with the canons!

Thanks for the offer Matt! I'll group the mufflers all together and who ever comes up can be kind enough to bring mufflers back to ACT with them. However there are folks from ACT getting the centre pipes and dump pipes. Not sure if one would be able to fit all that in the same trip.

But when the day gets closer I'll let everyone know.
