Guys, this will be a fantastic cruise, the route is excellent. There are some
minor route changes which i will fill you in on the day. We discovered 1 of
the roads wasn't sealed. :oops:

As a bit of fore-warning, for those with 6MT's you'll be exercising 3rd gear a LOT. Seems to be mostly 3rd gear work b/n 3500 and 6500rpm, a couple (literally about 3) hairpins that require 2nd and a few long straights that are easiest done in 4th (~110km/hr .....ish).

Make sure your tyres are inflated to correct pressures (38-41psi) and your brake pads have a good amount of meat on them (esp if you've got an auto).

Good solid drive with some great twisties and excellent scenery . . . . well, the white lines looked great (may have been concentrating).

Appreciate the rec trip too!! Nice find on the dirt road - although my car is that dirty it wouldn't matter... Anyone wanna come and clean her for me before I get really pissed at my buggered back! :evil:

There's not too many juts or ruts on the course so the road is pretty smooth. Mind you, you need good lateral support which I assume your new chair will have. The GT-B's suspension sops up most of the other deviations in the road.

Rebolstering for lateral support eh?? Now that's had some discussion in about the legalities of that in another thread!! Haha! We won't revisit it! But yes, my seat is now about 15% bigger in bolsters, but about 10000000% more in lumber!! I doubt anyone will be able to be comfortable in my car now! Great excuse to not let the wifey drive it!!! :wink:

Just comparing the Lib seats to those in a GC8 WRX, they're SOOOOOOO lame.
