Worry not! I have asked the exhaust shop to order in two sets for you (quad tips after all). They'll be here by Wednesday. Feel free to drop by after that for installation. I shall be there with camera in hand. :D

oh well....the missus found out...!!!

actually was told she found out yesterday (and to think I got away with it) she noticed it straight away when she started the car and it made the burble....

she also noticed the car was a lot more responsive and straight away new that I had done something...she didn't even notice the tips were different until I pointed it out....

my daughter (3 and a half years old) knew straight away after the change probably because it is at her height hahahaha

but all is well she seems happy with this one yay!

* had to edit this post as I wasn't thinking straight and missed a few words in the sentences as you will see from subsequent posts by others....

HAHAHAHAHAHA
They may be girls but they're far from ignorant on this sorta stuff. They notice the driving difference, not the parts, and that's incriminating enough for a married man.
At least it all ended well. Also good to have that impartial 3rd party review of the performance change with the muffs fitted. 8)

You should have painted the tips gunmetal Danny! Harder to spot as they don't stand out. :D

Wait until you get the dump pipe! She'll smack you one for getting it but then won't be able to stop grinning when she realises what an even greater modification compared to the mufflers! :D

dunno what you lot are on about. I told Audrey that I was getting it done weeks ago :D. No problems there - she couldn't wait :D Picked her up on Friday, told her it was done and she told me to start it up straight away. She loves that you can now hear it purr.

she's an only child sorry senator. I have no idea whether she would be happy with a supercharger or twin turbo setup. I can't afford it at the moment so there's no point thinking about getting (not to mention upgrading the rest of the drive train)

There are a couple of these girls around. My wife's happy with me modding the car (sensibly). Only problem is after driving my modded Subaru's she's turning around and asking me to modify her Audi A4 1.8TQ to make it faster
Modifying Euro's makes modifying Japanese cars look CHEAP :o
