Heres a quick pic of the Rear "Sti stamped" Control Arms and Lateral Links . Also a pic of the missing Lower Arm Bar !

Also wondering what size is the rear swaybar on the MY09 TB STi ? is it an upgrade ?
Surely it "should" be on the basic upgrade list before the control arms etc ?! Even the End Links !

i think the rear sway is a hollow 19mm bar..... and no its the standard sway bar, nothing special about it.

a good upgrade would be cusco sway (24mm solid) and rear lower brace......

btw endlinks a nothing special, but according to phat these tooth picks (endlinks) a pretty strong if you don't go over board with thick sway bars.

mine have held up for about 7 months now.

For anyone that is missing the STi Lower Arm Bar, you should call Subaru Australa on 1800 22 66 43 to make them aware of this, and then they will let you know what to do next.

Cheers

just today i was searching around looking for a detailed spec list for the TbSTis......like you guys i have noticed the extremely vague marketing stuff.

so lets clarify.......aside from the very obvious wheels and Brembos, on the underbody side we should be looking for :

Bilstien Coilovers with pillowball top mounts
STi Pink springs
STi Front arm bar
STi Rear Lateral Links
STi braided brake lines

presume this is the same for 07 and 08? is there anything else i am missing. I have read also that the GT "B" has different front control arms then the regular GT.......can anyone clarify?

bilstein struts not coilovers
from what i recall no 08 tb sti's were fitted with front lower arm hence this thread
also under the bonnet you will find a dampened strut brace

most of the marketing stuff out there focused on the wheels, brakes and power, nothing else.

saw on the STi Japan site that they had an STi coilover for the GEN 4 but looks like that was sold out.
