manual process mate.....you can re arrange your songs within the playlist but no shuffle capability on the headunit for the Ipod

and no you can not activate the shuffle on the Ipod while you've got it connected to the Head unit

so very limited in feature...the main advantage is that there is no moving parts so reduces wear and tear....

Very limited functionality is not wrong!

Ah well... will see how I go with the stacker for a while and look at possibly getting an adapter down the track I guess! :?

60 odd? I just burnt one with 146 tracks... x 6 = 876 tracks... should be able to deal with that for a week or so! ;)

Thought this might help as has a remote control and appears to be fairly cheap.

I have to disagree with you on that one when using a iPOD classic & earlier models inc nano, you just have to hit the RDM button & it goes from drpt>RDM>nothing>drpt & so on, but this is also with the MY05 head unit dunno if it changed with the latter models. an annoying thing is, it returns to drpt when ever you turn off the headunit either by ign or power button.
& the other annoying thing is if you leave the car off for a couple of hours it returns to the first track of the first playlist.
