rear diff mount bushes

Postby jdm rsk » Mon Mar 09, 2009 6:09 pm

g'day all

i have get this thud when i select reverse and back of the throttle quickly under drivetrain load...today i went to see my mechanic and he pointed out that the bushes where split and no good...i have put some water showing the splits so you can see.

i was wondering has anyone had these replace. i was told the whole cradle would have to come out so they can press the old one's out and the new one's in

if someone has had it done i would be interested in the cost

thanks shane

Hi,

I experienced the same things that you described in your thread. I had them replaced about 1 month ago.

Incorrect, although if you get the Fulcrum ones (highly recommended), you'll have to trim a small locating tab that will prevent you from getting them in.
