hi my name is paul, im not good at this stuff but ill do my best inorder to tell you a bit about myself. Im 21 i come from melbourne, i am a new member and recently a month ago i bought a 2004 my05 liberty 3.0R Spec B from a dealer, black, all standard features, 88k, 25grand drive away.

I am an electrical apprentice through victec earning f@#$ all and only been working for nearly 2 years and in 1 year and a half i saved up for the car that i have now, so pretty fortunate i think to save that much, considering what i spent on my first car.

My 1st and previous car is an el fairmont ghia i have had that since i was 18, so thats 3 and a half years driving that, so i know in's and out's of those types of cars, they are cheap to fix, easy to find parts and upmost reliable (i do travel alot for work). Great first car. Just to tell you's what i have done to it, mods on this car include things like head work, extractors, exhaust, lowered, cai, amps, subs, led lighting a pretty good looking car.

I know a fair bit about holden and fords as yes i am one of those people, but also one of you's, so i do like my 6cyls, turbos and v8's. On the topic about knowing things, i know the basics about subaru's as apose to the holdens and fords, so u might find me asking questions about taking off parts etc.

Im not biased towards any car not matter it be a holden, ford or subaru, to me there are good and bad cars and every company has them, and do point them out to my friends.

If you's want to know stuff im willing to answer, if i can get time to go on the pc.

Thanks for the welcome, im a proub subaru owner and i do love the japanese technology but i do love my luxury cars, i didn't mention i love both sports with luxury and the fairmont ghia is full luxury and a bit of the xr6 (sports version of a falcon), but this liberty has best of BOTH worlds and it does exceed in that and IM ONE HAPPY PERSON.

I am familar to the simple layout of a 6cyl engine (wasn't pushrod like a holden, its a ohc) with rear wheel drive (lsd) with a normal 4sp auto. Now like you's i have a horizontally opposed 6cyl, all wheel drive, 6sp manual. Oh and i enjoy the 6cyls as u can tell.
