Thanks for the follow-up email.
The Transmax E had to be formulated last year because the additive
required to blend the Transmax J was no longer available. The
performance of the Transmax E is equivalent to the Transmax J in some
parameters but better in areas including; friction durability, torque
capacity, wear protection and oxidation stability.
I can confirm that Subaru are now using this product at their
dealerships though I don't know if their auto transmission are brought
into the country filled with a different product.
