Arith wrote:cpitts, not to be rude, but ** re-edited for PG rating ** kindly get the heck out of this thread. This thread is for those who are interested in Phat's mufflers and/or the whole system.

You can discuss ADR, EPA, flatulent gases, etc all you want in another thread of your making.

You have established no credentials in this Liberty forum community as of yet, and yet all I see you do is stir up shit (ie- Phat's dump pipe). Don't want trouble from the government body? As senator suggested, don't mod. Even the HiTechs are in breach of something somewhere.

And yes, no one on this forum will probably ever reach the 500kw mark, but the mufflers are pretty quiet while still allowing performance gains. Not to mention the mufflers are still significantly cheaper than any JDM ones you'll be able to acquire these days.

100% Agreed.. start another thread if you want to discuss..

What a pain...... here we go again....

How many times must we go through this again. From the WRX forums now to this forum.

Farken hell.

Cmon all! I think its best if we just leave this thread alone now and just focus on the mufflers!! I mean after all, it is all about the mufflers!

C'mon let us all start counting the days until we get these installed....who's with me now??

Arith I like how you went straight to the point.

Guys it’s a sales thread, not Q & A thread about pointless facts, Arith is trying to organise a group buy,

Dave I pretty sure you were more then happy with how Arith organised and managed the hi tech group buy….. no delays no bullshit ……

He is trying to do the same thing here, except some have turned the thread into a “keyboard mechanic 101” thread and a making claims with out having seen or heard this system in the flesh, many members who have seen this system first hand have tried to post feedback to allow other members to get a better idea.

I see no issues and I would support a Q&A thread to start separately under a different topic thread.

The reason I joined this forum was due to the civil way in which things were discussed and points were made using hard facts, also how most members a more then willing to organise meets to see what mods others have done in the flesh.

Ok, so to ask a question related to this GB... how's the development of the mufflers going? Any idea of an ETA (I apologise if it was somewhere in the last 3 pages, I got bored...)

Arith wrote:I'm sorry, but at what point did I try to quell freedom of speech? I merely asked that he take his off-topic discussion elsewhere (ie- General). I'm not an administrator or a moderator, but I am asking for a bit of common courtesy for a thread which I started. And the thread title is 'EOI - Phat Mufflers', not 'Phat Mufflers, What Impact Will It Have On The Environment Or Government Legislation?'.

Phat may not post on the forum anymore, but he does READ it, especially this thread. I don't want anyone to jeopordize this group buy for those who are wanting to buy these mufflers, and those who have volunteered their time and effort during development.

Point taken Jim about thread stealing....

The impression I got when I read your reply was that you didn't want to hear what he was saying full stop not that it shouldnt be in this thread.

Sorry for the confusion.....

Cheers

+1

I think Arith should be given one of these ones :clapping:

Arith (Like many of us) are trying to help people, be it via knowledge or organising group buys etc. He is trying to help everyone out! Let's face it, there sadly isn't too many people in this world that are so willing to lend a hand anymore... & I'm sure if various people keep carrying on this way, well, there'll be one less person on that list.

Trieu is right also... There are many of us that have been members for awhile (Some longer then others - Check the post count  ) & we don't want to see it go down the toilet like previous forums have in the past.

I'm all for hearing everyone's opinions (Thus why I'm putting in my 2 cents) but keep it where it belongs. Much of what has been said in this thread about ADR's & noise etc has been covered before, so I don't feel there is any need to revisit them... Particually in this thread. You have a point to make, start a new thread... Trust me, it's not that hard.

So read the first post in this GB... If your interested, let Arith know, & if you have a genuine question, then ask it... But if you just want to stir sh!t, that start a new thread.

Lets keep it clean guys & girls :)

Agreed Arith and I have had a chat and I agree Arith and Phat they both do soo much for us poor chumps....along with many others...

This was a musunderstanding on my behalf and I agree that a new post should be started to handle the technical mumbo jumbo.

Please no more comments GET BACK ON TOPIC :)
