Dents on the Doors

Postby SX74SI » Tue Feb 17, 2009 4:39 pm

Ive been told by my dad's mechanic that subaru have thinner metal than most cars and they dent very easily
i have a couple small dents on my doors from other people opening they're doors on mine and also have heard that there are people that can remove dents if the paint isnt damaged?
is this true? anyone have experience with them? and contact details would be nice?
Thank you

i see a fair few libs with small dents just under the body line on the doors, so he might be rite about the thinner metal, i see accord euros with there large flat sides and they rarely look out of order.

Subarus are well known to have very thin panels. It probably saves 100kg or more!

Paintless dent repair guys are really good, i've actually got mine going in tomorrow to have the few minor dings taken out. dosen't cost much (especially when you are mates with the guy doing it). if anyone is going through Taree let me know and i will give you his contact details.

He is also a Liberty fan he owns a MY05 3.0RB. So he will look after you.

cheers
