Correct, JDM have twin scroll VF38 on Auto and the TD04HLA on the manual.

If it's worthwhile keeping this thread going, anyone post their knowledge of replacement turbos for each model:

e.g.
Car: MY05 GT manual
Upgrade: VF36 Turbo
Mods required: ??????


Very interested on what's needed to source particular upgrades without having to dismantle too much on a daily drive ;)

vf36 is probably a good route to go if you want to stay twinscroll

That's the idea, more interested for anyone to post their experiences with locating the correct up pipe, or just having someone modify their existing one to fit, along with anything else.

You need vf36 headers, downpipe and upipe to switch to vf36

maybe start a new thread would be best
