just an initial "hey, if we booked a day at wakefield in a couple of months time, who'd be keen?" my mate would bring his rs4 and my other mate would bring his 135i?

Yes I'll be keen, but if it has to be during the week, lots of notice would be good

Weekends of course would be no problem, but assuming it might encure higher costs?

+1 for doing it in the cooler weather also

depending on work and when it happens I'd be keen to come down for a drive and to play pit bitch. Don't think I'm too keen on tracking my Lib just yet.

Oh, and March-early May would be the better weather for me. After that point it gets a little chilly for my liking
