Reduced performance with passengers?

The driver's door on mine is a bit of a pain - needs to be either swung hard(er than I would like) or pushed closed the whole way. It's better with the glass down. The right rear door is so much better - probably because it hardly gets used

WD40 will fix that...

I've sure all cars that have a few miles on them will be the same.

Can't be as bad as my mates Polo GTI... Passenger door sounds like it belongs on a 40 year old pile of crap

LOL! It barely took half a page for this thread to be derailed from "Performance Under Load" to "My Door Feels Good".

But the answer is simple. Remove any extra weight and be sure to only allow wafer-thin supermodels as your passengers. They can't be any more than what, 15 kg?
