Postby jdm rsk » Wed Jan 28, 2009 12:25 pm

today i managed to change my tiptronic shift around so that it is pull back to up shift and push forward to downshift. the plug was located just in front of the shifter under the console. it was easy just required 2 wires to be swap around......i know i have a Gen 3 but i cant see why it would be any dfifferent on a gen 4.......shane

this is a gen 3 diagram

Good find, Shane! Are the wires 'plugged' in or do you have to cut and re-solder them back on?

they are pluged. i used a very very small flat blad screw diver to remove the wire from the plug and then swap them around. they just slide back in and you feel a click to lock them back in
