I'm not convinced of the potential performance gain even after looking at the "Test Results". The subaru manifolds may be plastic (eg 500grams vs 5kg) but I'd be pretty confident that they have managed to get the flow happening optimally for the engine. You'd be chasing something like 1% I'd reckon. All for the sake of having a billet plenum?

The test results aren't particularly conclusive either. To have a shred of credibility when advertising your product you really should be comparing before and after changing only that component and preferably on the same day. Sensible people will tend to be sceptical of self promotion and self performed test results in the first place

Showing dyno graphs 5 months and 1000km apart with additional modifications performed between the two points in time (catalytic converter fitted to exhaust, aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, aftermarket sump, standard throttle oversize mod +2.5mm diameter) is not so credible IMO

It looks real purdy. I wouldn't mind one for my H6 if I had already modded everything else.

Reckon it should be easily capable of coping with the 30psi I may someday want to shove down its throat

I'd be inclined to agree with Dave.. plenums and alike wont yield a good improvement over OEM until your driving a great deal of extra air through them.. How ever, once you are hitting 2-3x the standard airflow, OEM parts are obviously not designed to handle this and will start showing greater inefficiencies.

Unless this mod is rather cheap (Which I know it won't be) I wouldn't seriously consider it... Especially since it would be covered up. Most of us have not, & probably will not reach a level where this would become a viable option.
