Fuel Efficiency for Libs

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Can a V-Tune be done on a 04 auto GT. And if so where and how much.

My best economy is 8l/100km.

To my knowledge, yes it can. You need to be in Melbourne though. It is done by Vin (hence the "V") at STi Docklands

~8.6/100 average for a full tank, but to date, this is only peak hour stop start driving. Haven't had the GT on an open run since I got it, least not for a full tank.
Mind u, the opening up of the intake and exhaust without an ECU reprogram will ONLY make it run cleaner on cruise and give me back more economy. A huge jump was seen when I did a full fluids flush on the gearbox, diff and engine with NEO lubes, dropped ~1l/100 as a result. Then again, could have just badly needed a service.

on TOP GEAR tonight they did a comparison between a JAG a VW & a Legacy GT Wagon, on who could cross the UK on one tank of fuel the quickest/ furthest.....
But the gay thing was, captain slow was driving the GT  & finished long after the others  & thus didn't give any form of results or even if he finished
