Yeah, like some guy on the LegacyGT installed an Outback grill on his Legacy. Ugh. :?

Apart from the grille that's a nice GT, I like the colour-matched front lip. Makes everything look so integrated.. I think #1 priority on your list should be change that grille!

What is it anyway? An Outback one?

Hi gumbyy,

It is an optional Liberty grill. Take a look here:

http://www.subaru.com.au/models/liberty ... cessories/
Go to the "Styling" tab (the pictures are mixed up with the resin one).

I wonder what it would look like if I painted it black.

Welcome mate :) Brisbane northside ftw!! Except for the traffic, that bit sucks anus.

If you're planning on suspension, mufflers, ECU - as someone else has mentioned, consider going aftermarket unless you are dead keen on going for genuine STi and/or are worried about ADR (with a handful of exceptions, aftermarket tunes aren't generally ADR approved).

The STi mufflers for example were up around $4k last time I checked, that's a lot of coin - that $4k would get you a full exhaust, aftermarket springs (Kings?) and probably a tune as well.

Hi subnub,

I lived in Brisbane 10 years ago and I can't believe how bad the traffic is now! It's almost as bad as Sydney.

I have those parts already coming (Springs, ECU and Mufflers), all bought from other forum members. There is no way I would pay "Subaru prices" for those bits. Plus, it's a lease car so I thought it was better to stick with STi (warranty etc).
