I have a very similar set up. Front DBA 4000 rotors with Ferodo DS performance brake pads. I think you will be pretty happy with your upgrade.

Naw, man. If the gutter rash is over 2 inches in length, by NSW law, you are required to replace them with 19 inch wheels.

Why didn't you tell me before hand? I wouldn't have wasted money on this upgrade as I would have had the wheels to fit over a set of really flash brakes

I actually a set on a Mazda3. It was lowered on 18's. Bright red in colour.

From afar it looks really good but then close up, it's abit of a shocker. I was going to take photo's but lucky I didn't. The owner showed up just as I was walking away from the car.... phew...

Honestly they are shocking. I flicked them through the mags and it was flimsy as.

TOTAL CRAP.

Looks like DBA have changed the design of their 4000 series.

Good work mate! The mods are finally starting to come through :D

Now you're Team Vanilla with Sprinkles & Strawberry topping ;)

For the record, Tony out at V-Sport is a champ. He's looked after a number of us on here & he really knows his stuff :)

I was hoping for chocolate topping at least

But yeah, the car isn't all that vanilla any more - slotted rotors, tinted windows, resonatorectomy.

All it needs now is a GT front bar, sways, zorst and maybe some coilovers and it'll be worthy of the forum moniker HONEST!

yeah well, I don't think I ever said "won't". Was more "not in a hurry to right now" but neglecting to say that down the track something would happen

This from my intro. Bolded the words needing emphasis
Having experienced the rate at which a half decent bike can gather speed, I'm not too concerned with modding the RB just yet, though down the track may look at bringing a bit more of that lovely purr into the cabin.
