Welcome, Gary! I hope you find what you're looking for to help you make a decision. But are you looking for a MY04-MY06 or MY07-MY09 model year as the latter has a bit of facelift and different engine.

He said he had a lot of fun in the R1. I think he wants to stop having fun by getting the wagon.

Welcome to the forum Gary !

Most interesting conversion that you've done with your MERC, WoW !

I just recently went looking at MY04 GT's but they were all sedan's though. Hope your dream wagon comes up for you soon !

Hi Gary and welcome to the forum.
Good to see you are looking at a real subaru, a wagon.
Obviously it will not remain stock, even if that is your intention!

Is the Merc white, and was it @ the Willowbank Fats Fours meet a few years back? If so, that was my pick of the meet. w-i-l-d!!!!!!!
I'm an ex-rotisserie man myself, way back.

Cause it will be "mummy's" daily driver! :) but of course when im in the drivers seat I need something a little unique, no commodores for me!!

Also we now have 1 of 2 little ones and two puppies, so I think a wagon will suit well, also wagons are COOL!!(for all the wagon owners out there :wink)

Yes it is that car. However then it had a 13b turbo, and the standard wheels. I bought it without an engine and originally put in a N/A RB30, but of course it was just begging for some mods!

Also I will post pics soon. And yes I do love my R1 and have had fun, but money rules all and it will have to go for the wagon.

Well im still researching the cars, but its will most likely be the 05 year due to the money. Im still only a trainee pilot, so the cash flow isnt the best!! Which raises a Q, does MY04 mean 2004 and MY06 mean 2006 etc?

Pretty much. MY = Model Year. So you may have a Liberty that was produced in September 2003 for the 2004 model year line up, so it would be considered MY04.
