legal in WA so detection is no issue, but anywhere else and your just taking a gamble. No such thing is undetectable if the cops can inspect your vehicle.

They are not worth it for the $$ that you pay.

Don't drive like a knob and you will be fine.

They also don't pick up some of the radars that police use, so not worth sh^% IMO in Australia.

Fixed for you.

Tailgate, weave, do not indicate and be completely inconsiderate of every other road user and you will be fine. Our politicians and hence our police are fixated with a number in a magic red circle and ignore people who do drive like knobs (because it's harder to enforce those things and almost impossible to make over a Billion Dollars from them).

Speeding is easier to catch and regulate, and as a whole can be significantly more dangerous... there is no equivalent measure to catch dickhead drivers besides the usual patrolling method.. unless every inch of the country is captured on CCTV and there is a team of dedicated workers to sift through all of it.. I'm afraid we're probably stuck with always having dickhead drivers on the road. :x

With the exception of red light cameras, aren't most modern speed cameras moving to infrared? And without the need for a flash, the Photoblocker is pretty much useless.

LOL what gives you that impression, his prior ownership and use of a radar detector perhaps? I have owned several and have plenty of experience with their use in detecting multinova's, fixed radar using K, Ka, etc..

if you really want to some qualitative information then try starting here
