Side door sills

hey guys,

anyone know where i can get some aftermarket door sills / protector plates for the lib? i know u GT guys got them and higher spec too right?

i couldnt find a pic of them but hopefully u know what im talking about, the scuff plates on the bottom of the door frame...

wouldn't mind some ... and to protect from ppl leaving scuff marks on my car.... it hurts!! :wink:

i looked on japanparts.com but no luck, ebay none either...

EDIT i mean ebay has generic ones i think but i wouldnt mind some ones that say subaru...

i know what your talking about, but they don't really offer much protection, trust me

maybe check out clear plastic they can apply to the entire side skirt, that would offer more protection.... i think the clear car bra guys do it...they a called ozzy cozi

thanks for the suggestion senator... but it just doesnt look cool! i can see heaps on ebay for other makes.... brushed aluminium and some of them the wording lights up!

I was thinking of getting them but it's a fair bit of money for something that's verly seldom noticed...

Actually there are a few on JapanParts for the GenIV:

- JDM STi: http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=7750 (at today's exchance rate you're better off taking Dave's advice and getting these from the dealer)

- Brush aluminum with Subaru lit up with LED: http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=17538

I've got the STi ones, which I prefer the dark colour over the silver OEM Subaru ones. I still have the original OEM ones if you're interested.

shit i did not see those in my search on japan parts... thanks arith... but ouch pricey

and no way im paying subaru $400 for em!

arith do ur OEM ones just say subaru? i dont think i'll be putting STi ones on my 2.5i lol! :roll:

Nope! Had their custom engraved with Mano's mum's name.

Yeah man, they say Subaru and are in silver. Let me know if you'd like me to post pics but I'm sure you know what they look like already.
