Accurate information?

Can anybody tell me where I might get some accurate information without having to speak with some sales person who eats a bowl full of lies for breakfast and regurgitates them all day at work

Basically, I've ordered a 2.5i and want to have the stereo controls fitted to the steering wheel. For some strange reason, Subaru have decided not to fit this as standard to the 2.5i and have one of those annoying blanks on the steering wheel where the controls should go...... pfft...even my daughter's standard Suzuki Swift has steering wheel controls

I just want to know if anybody can tell me who to ring and find out "FOR SURE" whether it can be done or not.

There's a thread in the Audio options forum where a member says that it's both possible and easy. I've posted a question there but so far no reply.

this i would like to know also! MY08 2.5i no steering wheel audio controls either.... i drove a base model commondore to syd and even that piece of crap had audio controls!

Sorry, my bad. That was a friend's Astra that had it, before upgrading to the 2.5i.
