Well, today's turned out to be a spectacular day

After much deliberation, I decided to break up with my girlfriend of long distance relationship, who was planning on coming here to study next year for two years to see if it would work out.
I feel like things aren't the same any more, I guess there's no way of telling if it'd work out or not unless she came, and I could see if things would feel right again. But at the same time, it could be bad as well, and she could have come over just for me to realise that things aren't the same, and won't be the same again.

Did I do the right thing?
I know I should have told her earlier...

I'm always one for trying out things and giving it a chance, no matter the consequences. There's the perpetual lingering 'what if' looming overhead. But I guess in your case, if you don't feel it anymore, there's no point in delaying the inevitable.
