CEL and flashing CRUISE again...

So, it's back.

It's been a year since I got the O2 sensor replaced, do you think Subaru will replace it under warranty?

They should if it's under a year and the problem turns out to be the O2 sensor they replaced previously. Perhaps the car is trying to tell you it doesn't like being converted back to near stock! :P

It's over a year ago, I meant to say. So I'm not sure if they'll replace it for free, they've already done it.

A bit of smooching might get you a free replacement. Otherwise I'm assuming the car is out of warranty and you're not under any sort of extended warranty? Because I think most places will warranty their work for 1 or 2 years. Just take it in Monday and complain the part they put in has failed already.

I'll be calling them Monday, see what they can do... if not, then tough luck I guess.

I'm just annoyed because it's not meant to be a wear item, and fair enough the early ones might have been faulty - but I've already had it replaced twice.

Subarus are meant to be more reliable than this (except for Kurt's lemon, haha).

Spoke to the dealership and they said that the part that was replaced, should carry a 12mth warranty. I've got it booked in on Thursday to get it fixed, pending work approval of starting work late.

With the 06-07 the loom can be rerouted, the rear sensor moved to behind the cat, requires another bung to be welded in. This fixes it.
