What have you found in your bonnet scoop !!

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

What have you found in your bonnet scoop !!

One of the guys i work with has a GTB 7 was telling me this morning with great laughter, while travelling up the F3 @ 110km/hr a bird came straight at him then disappeared. He thought this was strange as he was waiting for the big WHACK on the window. & was think the rest of the way into work no way it couldn't have !!
any way he got to work & popped the bonnet & found a dead bird sitting on his intercooler,  apparently it was some thing like a minor bird.

me personally nothing that exciting just the occasional leaf

Ever so slightly off topic, if i may, as i dont have a bonnet scoop... Years ago while driving the pulsar, i drove thru a bunch of minor birds eating something in the middle of the road, and thought nothing more of it until that afternoon in the carpark i found one of those birds was caught between the radiator and the cut out bit at the bottom of the front bar, it was funny but sad seeing its little limp head hanging over the edge!

Did you dispose of it or did you call the nearest man to do your dirty work!

+1 on the occasional leaf and rock, my top mount stays surprisingly clean even with the ARC scoop widening the intake xx% lol

where do i start

a small snake....lucky i saw the marks the snake made along the bonnent whilst making its way into the scoope, before i started the engine

a few birds...mostly dam minors....

a green tree frog not in the bonnet but hoping along the bonnet, wish i had the camera, looked great with all the water beading on the bonnet too and colour of the frog contrasted to dark colour of the car.
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty

Not a bonnet scoop incident but a similar happening.

Driving my Dad's Mazda E2200 Van whilst away on a surf trip with mates, car had 5 of us in it as well, BANG! a rainbow lorikeet smacked into the front windscreen puts a massive crack in it, rolls over the roof (all while doing about 80km) and gets sucked in through the back passenger window hits my mates seatbelt (spraying a little bird blood) and ends up right up against the back boot door!!!

And straight out of a movie (serioulsy) one of my mates coughed and a bird feather came out of his mouth....keeping in mind these vans are pretty long (LWB model). So funny.
