Carbon Fibre Grill..... lovin' the look!

Postby WhiteGTB » Sat Nov 29, 2008 6:59 pm

Finally decided to grab that Carbon Fibre grill from Troy, great price, excellent quality and fits really well.

Got it home, painted that nasty silver grill to matt black and popped over Jim's (Arith's) house to grab the badge and wolah! Totally different front end :)

Very happy with the results.

Looks great, Trieu! I was blessed to see this in person. Gotta tell ya. For that sort of price, you just can't beat the value. Good build and excellent fit and quality. Expect to pay $1,000+ AUD now for the CF one from Zero/Sports. Anyone wanting a mesh grille for your MY07+ get this! It's great (except for that awful silver mesh but that's easily fixed). Great find Troy!

Trieu, any close-up top-down shots of the grille to see it's smooth layering and CF pattern?

By the way that silver STi badge is gonna cost you $10,000. :P Blame the exchange rate.

First of all very nice outcome! The paint job, placement of the silver badge really re-vitalises the look! So what mods are next, if i may dare ask?

Trieu offered me the money or his first born as payment. I opted for the money.

Which one Phil? Barely just owned the car and he's already got 3 grills under his belt.

Yeah, they both look so good :)

Haven't decided to sell the other one yet, still liking the honeycomb style too.
