Sunsets are pretty cool, but the contrast of very bright and very dark areas can make it hard. Thankfully the camera is smarter than I am so it sorts it out, heh
One from the missus, she enjoys macro stuff:
Metallic cars are hard to photograph properly...
especially when they're a multi-phase pearl. But IMHO the results are worth the hassle, and needing the right light is a good excuse not to be lazy - I've found I need to physically move myself rather than relying on camera settings in order to get the best light
Still trying to work out how to do engine bays that have some bling, I'm a lighting noob
Trying to take pics of animals sucks! They won't stay still!!
A lot of the time, timing is everything. Got the flamage but wasn't quite quick enough with spinning around so the car is almost out of shot, doh! I think I should have been back up the straight a bit so I didn't have to swing the camera so hard??
Slow shutter openings can produce some nice effects, I think these were at 1/40. I haven't worked out a rule of thumb yet so I just snap away until I find something that works.
That'll do for now, I don't want to spam too hard! If anyone has any suggestions or ideas on what I can do better or things I can try let me know! If nothing else it's a good excuse to tinker with the camera
