admittedly i know that these sorts of posts tend to start domestics, and people tend to make assumptions that im sterotyping.. but hear me out, i do come in peace!!
ive been in albury/wodonga, since the 14th, and previous to that, a week in sydneys western suburbs. and of course, before that brissy, my place of origin.
now im sure some of you have this down pat, and with your vast experience in driving ability and years on the road you understand the concept of driving... but going by the time i have spent shaking my head and yelling at a someone i know has no hope in hell of hearing me in the last couple of weeks, obviously we dont all share that same ability.
Queenslanders i know. have a very laid back, casual sort of care free approach to driving, yet the temptation to want to get out of your car, and approach the driver and question what limited edition of cereal came out with a drivers permit..
You of the cockroach origin, i notice have the swerve then indicate, must hurry, cant be late or ill miss my hair appointment sort of attitde. but at least you indicate!
Victorians, well sorry guys i still dont get it, admittedly, i have only ever driven in wodonga, but still, i just dont understand. I know we all drive the same car, ok well the same make! but i know they all come with a stick on the right hand side of the column that is commonly used to activate that little orange light that INDICATES to people where you are going, im just guessing maybe down here they are overrated!
And im quite sure that traffic lights, the green lights dont get any greener.. it wont change within a second of going green so its ok, and you can go thru an orange light, if its not safe to stop.. 3 lights.... pretty easy.
and roundabouts.... this will be the death of me!! it is not a requirement for you to wait for the traffic to get to the round about, i can confidently say, that you only have to give way to traffic on the roundabout... and you are aloud to get out of first gear to go around.. really you can... i dont mind..
now im sorry if i have offended anyone, not my intention, and of course people are going to retaliate, or defend thier fellow drivers, but i guess at the end of the day, just speaking my mind
