VIC users: Shell V-Power sold out

Postby SpecB » Mon Dec 18, 2006 5:08 pm

Hi Guys,

Just thought you guys might like to know that Shell ran out of V-Power (in Victoria) yesterday and still didn't have any as of 12:30pm today.

I asked what the deal was and they said they had a problem with a broken pipe. ????

Not sure when it will be back up again.

Cheers,

G

Must have been a pretty major failure for the whole state to run out.
Filled up today too, but went for Vortex 98 just for a bit of a change (and I didn't know that I had enough left to get me to the nearest shell)

i noticed some sydney shell servo's didn't have V-Power last night either....perhaps this is more than just a Victorian shortage...

yeah i went to fill up this morning and found there was no v-power either. i just filled up with v-power racing. lucky my brother has a fuel card that he got when he won his car or else there would be no way i would be filling up with the v-power racing.

Most were up and running again today, and the guys did tell me that it was a Vic problem only.
