I'm assuming your 6mt is short ratio, do you find freeway cruising to be a compromise in any way? Iirc it's only an extra 300-500rpm, probably more gentle on the clutch

In reality, it's a want vs need thing, I've ridden shotgun in Owens bspec at Winton, black spur etc, and the open diff didn't seem to compromise his ability to attack the course. If anything it's the whole BP/BL chassis that's the limiting factor, according to Owen the VA chassis is just so much better. So yeah diddling with dccd boxes etc is potentially just rolling the log in glitter
