Yes, without the need for a dyno to tell me, there is a noticeable difference going from top mount to front mount. It's mainly in the mid to top end but overall power and torque are up. But I'm afraid if I put it on the dyno and it tells me I only have 120kw I'd die.

drndrn wrote:exactly how often do you wash your car? And what about detailing? DIY or professionally done?

I dust the car twice a day with a car duster which helps the dirt and dust from building up and caking.

Otherwise until the lazy car learns to clean itself, DIY detailing mostly. However I'm getting Dan from DMS to buff out more of the serious swirls this weekend.

Sorry to be off topic, but do you go the full sha-bang. With like fillers, sealants, polish and wax? Or just a simple wash, dry, wax? cos your car always looks immaculate.

Haha. Believe me when I say I'm not as fanatical as some of the members on here (blacknwhite, Trieu, etc) because I just don't have the time like I used to. But yes, every 6-8 months the full treatment of clean, polish, wax, and sealant. Otherwise I top off the wax every 2nd or 3rd wash. :pardon:

Jim, do you wash your own car? It looks so clean and shiny in all of the pics on this forum!

not fanatical at all our Jim
I will have you know this fanatic has not washed the car in 10 days,
alright because
Pressure cleaner died
Foam gun on order from UK
special detergent also on order
(This is so I wont need to use a mitt as much as this is where most swirls come from)
10 days without a wash........therapy is slowly kicking in
So just be careful about who you call a fanatic ok

Haha! Mind if I ask what wax you use Jim?

I use Mothers Carnuba, but it's the only product I've ever used so I don't know how well it stacks up against others.

Oh, and here's my total wanker mod for the week. A Momo Combat EVO Carbon Fiber shift knob. I finally have a visible CF piece.
