Nooby question about key barrel on my 05 liberty

Postby Sam2523 » Fri Jun 17, 2016 11:02 am

Hi guys, recently got a 2005 liberty.

Just realized using the key (barrel), I could only lock/unlock the front door on driver's side. Should it be like that? I thought the key should be able to lock/unlock all doors.

Does anyone know about this? Many thanks.

P.S. Remote works fine.

No, security

Use the key fob, and all door and tailgate on wagon unlock
Use the key in the door, and only the drivers door unlocks. From there you need to use the unlock button on the inside of the door.
If you approach your car and you want a secure entry, use the key in the door.

Many thanks mate. I have to say what a nice design it is.
