UPDATE

So after speaking with Kris from RSS I have 100% confirmed by will be sticking to the 270kw limit as the difference between said power and 300kw is where big money comes into play and a Closed Deck could make a difference but isn't required and definitely can be overlooked for a 270kw such as mine using a low boost, big turbo street application.

I will be adding the following parts to the original build plan, Thanks to the help of users on these forums:

- Killer B Oil Pickup
- STI Water Pump
- DW850 / ID1000 Injectors
- Walbro 360lph / DW 65C Fuel Pump
- Process West TMIC /w Spray

Sorry if forgot you were factoring in suspension mods & other stuff...

Your right a PWR is definitely a winner....

You'd be surprised how early you can get the stock location turbos to spool up...I see full boost @ 3400 on my dom2.5 xtr 8cm....

It's okay, If I had 25k for motor alone i would definitely double up on headwork, cams etc. This just makes more sense on my current budget.

Not sure if being sarcastic about PWR? :P

I've never used a Blouch, Have only heard things about slower spool times. I've mostly used Garrett and Borg Warner. Perhaps you could share some other info and experience? How far does your 2.5xtr carry through with power?

I went 254kw at the hubs on 98 with a blouche 1.5xtr at 24psi soooo responsive for street.
20psi at 2400rpm. 24 by 2700 held till 7k...
2.5xtr would be even better top end with slightly later spool.

Recommend the kb oil pickup too.
CURRENT - ATP GTX 3576 - 22psi - 283.7awkw
OLD - Dom 1.5Xtr - Last dyno 254ahkw, previous 238ahkw, first 224awkw.

Did you consider the Plasmaman WTA setups. I looked into it when planning a turbo EG33 into my BH wagon. They have a number of kits based on required power figures.

I'd personally go through Garage 88, but I may be a little biased

I think so. I've lost count of all the things done over the years. My 1.5 scroll turbo kit will be for sale shortly.

Didn't know Garage 88 did builds. Either way I wouldn't go with them, Have seen some of the cars coming out and associated with them and while nice, They just aren't my style and how I like to present my cars.. Too many body kits, wings and very much in your face exterior modifications, Which is what I have tried to get away from with my Liberty when selling my Impretzel and 180SX.
It may sound petty but it's just a personal thing and I would like to represent a workshop that also represents my character, the understated design of a Liberty and one that I can associate with.

Well they are the official Varis disty among other quality brands... :P
Hard to pigeon hole any quality workshop of that caliber, they've been smashing out quality builds for years spanning street to time attack.

G88 wrote the book on stealth street Libs back in the day, and still got the goods... :good:
Infact Micheal May, aka PhatGT virtually singlehandedly kickstarted built Libs as a thing, offering the first 3" dump pipes built specifically for pre's and posts, auto and manual...

Possibly.. I will have a chat to Owen and see if he can change my mind, but at the moment i'm not to keen on Garage 88.

Time will tell. All that's left of me is to pick a workshop
