will more than likely be the last time you see the f-111 in action too due to its upcoming retirement..

Finally had a day off today and decided to go see the air show.. It has to be the best $15 bucks i've spent all year. Totally worth it and i think everyone in qld should go have a look! Unfortunately it was also one of those days which i wish i had a damn digital slr camera and the skills of tancla... or maybe just have Clarance with me to take the shots. Here's a few quick action shots using a crappy sony cybershot.

Sure did mano! The only drawback was the sun. An entire day in 30 degree heat with not a cloud or shade in sight became abit uncomfortable, even with all the sunscreen. But either than that, it was tops. :)

nice pics mate, ha ha good work.. i think i took.. nah i cant even remember how many i took... went kinda nuts tho..

if you managed to wander you way up to where the two f-111s were parked facing each other, you would have certainly walked passed me, standing there using a manequin dressed like a pilot, to impress chicks.. lol.. worked for me..

all in all, great day, and good to see the ol pig get up and do her thing... sad to see her go..

mano, you will prolly see her once more at indy....
