Subaru Liberty GT 05 Wagon

Postby carrotsniffer » Fri Jan 22, 2016 6:18 pm

Hey guys, just recently got my blacks ( full licence ) and im looking for a new car, preferably turbo. ive been looking at the Liberty GT 2005 wagon ( manual ). i believe they're heavier than the wrx and also has more kw's. my main concern is how much lower end torque it has. Does the car throw you back in your seats when you pull hard stock? any info would be muchly appreciated thanks.

Mine was never stock when I drove it, but they are not slow cars.
With nothing but a tune, you'll be 160+ kw at the wheels.
There's less torque at low end than the 2.5 - but it's never a problem, and the engine is happy to rev.

My car blew up so I don't do anything currently, but absolutely. Don't make the mistake of thinking that the 2.0 is the 'lesser' engine vs the 2.5

The JDM Legacy continued using the EJ20X/Y even while the AUDM and USDM models went to the EJ255

Not right now, but maybe in the future. It depends on my new roster.
Lets face it, it isn't running properly at the moment, so it isn't worth shit!
