Spoke to anodised today, they said about $5 per piece. I can organise for people if you want it done (gen3v8 has made me feel like shit for not organising it for you all), but it will mean waiting a little bit longer to receive it. Please let me know if you'd like me to do that.

You have done more than enough so I wouldn't worry about them Adam. I'll wait untill I see it in person before making a decision to anodize it.

Anodising is a personal choice, so I definitely wouldn't feel bad because of some whinger.
You've done more in less than 6 months, than what took years when others were organising the SI Drive Cover, so be proud of that. You should've charge people for your time, because they don't realise how much work a GB is (I know, I've done one). You won't get rich from it, but at least it'll be worth your time.

But because we (me and Tim aka sinno91) live in a regional area, we haven't found anyone local to do anodising for us. There's an aluminum window place that may do it, but I don't know if they'll do small jobs.

So we'd actually be very appreciative of anyone who'd organise that

(the extra time taken is not a problem, because we'd have to send it to Bris otherwise).

Well im happy to do it for forum members.
The only thing is, they all have to be the one colour (clear), as its 20 units for $105. If some want black, we'll need to convince another 20 people for that, or pay a little bit more.

I'd be happy to get it anodised. Pretty sure the aluminium place in Townsville won't be able to help us (Tom and myself). I'm happy with clear.

i think ill struggle to get enough people to do black as well, so looks like clear it is guys. Sorry to disappoint anyone wanting black.

I'm good with clear, reckon it'll look better matching the SI Drive logo colour rather than adding a new colour to things

I got an extra one made for myself and was going to have 1 clear and 1 black in case i wanted a change 1 day... but ill scrap that plan as the silver was always my 1st choice.
