WTB: Gen4 Wagon

Postby RXWAG » Wed Oct 15, 2008 9:00 pm

Hey people,

new to the site and the reason I signed up was to look for a new wagon, and for the love of liberty's.

Anyway after a Gen4 wagon pref white or silver, manual, safety pack (would like a sunroof) km's don't really worry me as long as it has been well looked after...

Looking to spend between 20-24k (am i dreaming?). Have seen a few around but as soon as I was seriously looking they seemed to have dried up like western NSW!!!

If you see one or know of someone in NSW selling one let me know...
Cheers.

You want an auto sedan mate, not a wagon hahah.

Try this one, it's been well looked after.

^^^mate i would love nothing more then to buy your GT wagon, I have seen it for sale for a while :)

few reasons why i'm not going GT is that:

1. your in WA (has nothing to do with it being a GT really) if you were in NSW i would definately consider it.
2. I've have done insurance quotes over the internet and its just way to expensive for someone my age (23) to insure....

Thanks and good luck with it, its a shame no one has picked it up!!

In my books always better to be put out a little bit more, if you buy the car he can pay for your cheap flight to go and have a look, and to spend the little bit extra (in the whole scheme of things) to get GT, not a pov pack slug.

Driving along in the GT, then thinking you made the right decision  , because you will regret getting an 4cyl N/A boat.

ha ha, yeah i suppose but i'm not quite in the financial position to cover the insurance premium ($3449 with normal excess, down to $1769 with $2100 excess compared to $500 for a "pov pack slug" ha ha with $2100 excess.)

ps by the time i got the weapon home it would have over 100k!!!! although the drive would be awesome!

I can put the GT under my parents name and get the insurance down to about $508 with a higher excess, i just think by the time i re-register it here in NSW and transport it the cost would balloon well above what i can really afford :? .

Unless i can get it for just that bit more then what the dealer is going to offer him (lets be honest who wants to see the dealer get there hands on it!!)

Just doooo iiiittt

I'm 23 & yes, the insurance is expensive, but hey, you only live once mate :)

Although I will admit, if your not into performance &/or modding, then I'm sure the NA will serve you fine.

& there's nothing wrong with an auto GT btw... :D

Go Team Wagon!

i recently saw a blue auto GT, with 67k on the clock for $24,000 just not sure about blue and not keen on an auto....it ended up selling but what do the auto's feel like?

shouldnt be any more than $1000 to $1250 to transport it over to NSW (Ive shipped two cars the other way to WA). Just get a RAC check here to get it looked over if you are worried about it - at least that will give you peice of mind and save you a airfare ticket

So.....seems I have a curse of being able to ring up about a car and it being sold that day or the previous day....4 times now

Anyone know if anyone else who will be upgrading or just selling soon...?
