UPATE: 8/12/15

Car has blown the front diff. It had a good life and put up with many 4.5k stall launches. Auto's hate the wheel spin! I'm trying to find a stronger replacement front diff for the 5EAT if anyone can help? Even if its just part no.'s

While the car is off the road I thought it was time to get cracking on this years x mas present... JDM Preface Spec B front end. Talking to as many people as I can to ensure I do it properly the first time.. This is what I'm thinking..

-JDM Spec B Bumper
-JDM Spec B guard liners
-JDM Spec B fog lights
-Spec B Front Lip
-Postface Spec B Honeychomb grille (retrofit)
-Black out chrome ring on Grille
-Black out Chrome surround on preface headlights
-Flip FMIC Core and re fabricate piping
-HID 55w 6,000k Low
-HID 55w 6,000k Fogs
-Phillips t10 LED Parker

Cusco do 5eat diffs, front n rear :good:
As regards the front end conversion:
There's Russian sites that have JDM/EUDM (ADM) model part numbers, you could look up and compare if any of the sundry parts are inter-compatible.
I'm thinking of teamparts.ru and megazip.ru
Keep 2 browsers open eg safari and chrome, the latter with auto translate in effect.
http://www.teamparts.ru/catalog/car_inf ... &year=2006
http://www.megazip.ru/zapchasti-dlya-av ... kfh-118990
Hunt around for the relevant model codes up a few directories, as those links are for my car...
Also japanparts has something similar :)
LEDs might be the new hid fogs etc: scroll down

Cheers for that Ben :) Great help.

I got the news yesterday that the whole trans is gone. Box, front diff etc. Lucky Graeme had everything I need ready to go (forum members to the rescue). Another auto box and front diff here we go

Anyone know a ruff price of the gramps build at AM auto? Seriously considering the 6 speed STI conversion again (gahhhh)

Most comprehensive builds are $20K+...

Plus labour :P

10k built engine, 5k box, 5k parts...
Maybe a little less if you're considering blowing up a succession of stock H6 motahs :P

Unfortunately AFAIK Cusco no longer produce the front diff for the 5eat.

Climber D managed to get an LSD front diff into his preFL legacy, custom job based on the Flatirons Tuning 4EAT upgrade. You'd need order 5 of those bad boys for them to start production - about $1100USD per diff + INT shipping X5. It's mostly a track upgrade too.

As I said on FB, the stock front diff is not something that has caused issues on most of the heavily modified 5EATs here, so perhaps your failing trans had something to do with it.

Update 15/12/15

Got the word from the trans specialist... Box is dead. Teeth are snapped to pieces. Explains why even in park it would just keep rolling along. Trans specialist asked for New box, front shafts and front diff. All on the way from Owen at Revzone. It's going to be a push to get it back by Christmas

Not yet. Throwing a stock 5EAT in there to get it back on the road. It's on a hoist at MV Auto in Blackwood as we speak. Talking to the boys at AM Auto about my options with 6 speed. Possibly Haltech Elite ECU which would allow Flex Fuel :D
