WTB: Manual Gen 4 Facelift GT or 3.0R Wagon (not black)

Hi all,

My MY07 2.5i pearl white wagon has been rear-ended and is in getting repaired. ETA of 23 Dec.

I have been wanting to upgrade for a while now to something with a bit more get up and go to it and so far I've test driven a GT and a 3.0R spec B, both of which have been tuned.

I am happy with the way both of them perform !

Obviously lower KM's preferred, and I do LOVE the pearl white, but I'll consider other colours except black (gf says no).

Manual only, as the gf will need to drive it sometimes as well (we all need a deso driver, right?) and she freaks out trying to drive an auto (no seriously, she does!)

As the car isn't a write-off I'm not in a huge rush to buy as I'll be able to get about in mine still, but I really do want to upgrade now.

Closer to Sydney the better but if it's the right car I'll come to collect.

I'm not planning to modify it at all, and would actually prefer a quieter exhaust (can't be drowning out my music now can we?)

Budget is flexible depending on the car of course. I've got the $$$ so no need to wait on finance etc.

If I've missed anything glaringly obvious, I apologise!

Yours did have a particularly nice engine sound for pretty much stock with a tune!

I see that manual gt/3rb wagons not in black and/or without a cream interior are few and far between so I don't think I mind too much which I end up with!

If I had of known what was going on with my car earlier I would have ended up with Mark's white gt wagon the other day which was in auto. I've since decided I'll likely need manual if I want my gf to ever drive it (and me) anywhere

It took me a couple of months to find mine.
There seemed to be periods of time when 0 or 1 were available on carsales, then suddenly there were 5 or 6 to choose from. It's just a waiting game unfortunately.

Locally I could help you if one turned up, and.I'm sure, if interstate, a member there would be happy to assist.

It's a dark colour but it's not black, ticks all the boxes otherwise

Yeah I've seen these. Very tempting! I am just waiting to get my car back (should be 23rd dec).

I'm holding out hope a white one will come up that doesn't have cream interior right now haha
