i had a customer once that didnt want to deal with the first salesperson he spoke to at the dealership, and he came back in with a big trench coat, hat and glasses so they wouldnt recognise him. hahaha

Heya Norm, just keeping it under wraps until I actually get the keys, it ain't anything special... limited finance these days.

Mate, as mentioned, its good you found out about it before you purchased.

You had a bad experience with a salesman, but end of the day i dont think it warrants you needing to call the dealer principle like everyone is mentioning. Just speak to the manager and ask to arrange another salesman. Talking to the dealer principle may cost that salesman a means to put food on his family's table.

End of the day not everyone is 100% everyday. And seriously, car salesman are not as bad as everyone keeps saying. Its a job where people earn money, i dont see funeral parlors been associated as dodgy when they charge an arm and a leg at a sensitive time where people have to purchase.

I am not a car salesman but part of the automotive industry. The mojority of salesman out there are really good at loosing the company money!

ive been to around 5 delaers lately look at trading in my car and it amazes me how everytime i went to one to talk about the trade in price on my car i was SHOCKED!!!! my car over 1 week seemed to have dropped in value $10 grand from the first value i had gotten!!!

lol its straight up robbery!!! bordering criminal.... im going to play the waiting game and sell my car privatly and get the right money for it!!! never again will i even bother with a dealer for a trade in... but now when i do have the cash to go buy a new car i will be giving it to them!!! ill be haggling witht them to drop there prices after the piss poor offerings they had for my car!!!!

Trade prices dont mean squat. Change over price is all you need to worry about. They will play with figures on either side whether they give more discount or more for your trade. Mate a business operates to make money i dont know why everyone complains about dealers. If you want close to what you think your car is worth sell it PRIVATELY! But then again you should already know, what you expect for your car is gonna never be near what a dealer offers, thats general knowledge so why waste your time in the first place?
