I advise that on 12 September 2008, Paul Weston and I were appointed Voluntary Administrators of the above named company pursuant to Section 436A of the Corporations Act 2001.

I have undertaken an urgent assessment of the company to determine its future viability.

As there are insufficient funds available to trade the business, the company has today ceasedtrading and monitoring services have been suspended.

QuikTrak Networks Limited (ASX: QTK) reports an improved operating performance in the second half of the 2007- 2008 financial year with an EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation) loss of $992,324 for the half. This is a 46% improvement on the EBITDA loss reported in the first half of the 2007-2008 financial year of $1,849,724.

Received an email today:

We refer to our previous correspondence dated 16 September and 24 September 2008.

We are please to advice that we have entered into an agreement with an interested party for the sale of the business assets of Multi-Trak Pty Ltd.

The purchaser of the business will be in contact with you shortly regarding the resumption of services. It is anticipated that monitoring services will commence again over the coming days. We also understand that the purchaser will be offering a 3 month monitoring free period to customers who migrate to the new company.
