Cruise 30th August

It has come time again to attempt to have a go at some sort of organization of the qld cruise. I believe troy will have the deets but 30th of Aug is all i know so far and figure if the word gets out now, we might be able to get a few peeps on board. Any recommendations of preferred paths on which to take?

UPDATE: We are all meeting at John Scott Park, Samford between 8:30 and 9:00. Then head towards Lake Somerset Holiday Park day area where there are amenities for potti breaks and I believe denski was contemplating something about sausages and cruisers?? We will head down through Mt Glorious and along the twisties beside the dam itself. Then from there its up to people whether they want to lap around through Kilcoy then back into north Brisbane or just head back home. Should be a great day with some good numbers coming.

UPDATE: Plan is we are leaving at 9:30 at the absolute latest, if you're not there you will have to catch up

My recommendation on preferred path is an asphalt based path.

Count me in. Not sure where to go, but would prefer it's somewhere other than Mt Nebo, only cause it'd be nice to change up a bit.

I think at this stage it's starting at nebo but then heading out towards somerset and kilcoy.

QLD cruise time!
Date is Sunday 30th August. So clear your rosters!
Start time is still TBA. Will be an early-ish start though.

Route is starting at Samford, then up over Mt Glorious, out to somerset dam, and for the ultra keen maybe a push onto Kilcoy.
Home route would be straight down the hwy from Bribie turn off for those south of the finish point.

Now depending on location, are we bothering with pre meets? I'm assuming those from the north side and the West side may just head straight to Samford. I'm assuming I'm the only one from the far east side and I'm happy to head straight to Samford. Or, fan meet up with the guys on the south side assuming they want to pre meet.
