Best brake pads for GTB MY08 with std rotors?

I'm looking to upgrade my brake pads for generally better braking at reasonable cost, and I would like to stay with the standard rotors. I don't thrash the car, and I don't do track days, so Ferodo DS2500s would be overkill in both performance and cost.

My research indicates that the best contenders for my needs would be:

* Bendix Ultimates
* Hawk Performance Ceramics
* Ferodo DS2000s
* MRT pads (not sure which ones).

They all seem to provide very good braking without major dust problems. I have left out Endless because everyone complains at just how dusty they are.

1. Can anyone suggest which I should choose, and why?
2. Does anyone know the correct Bendix Ultimates pads for the rear. Bendix Australia don't know! They could only tell me that the fronts are DB1722.
3. Does anyone know ballpark costs for the different brands of pads listed above?

DB1722 only comes in General compount from Bendix.. so thats a no go..

DS2000's are very nice, but I have had issues getting stock on a regular basis

Personal preference is EBC GreenStuff, reasonably priced, good initial bite, low levels of fade, dusty though

Havent tried the others.. talk to PhatGT

Just the fronts.

Don't get MRT pads.

I will say that combined with DBA 4000's they actually do work pretty well (It's what I'm currently running) but they create heaps of break dust, significantly more then OEM pads. Plus, its brown dust!

Bro,

I've used the Hawk HP Plus brake pads. Awesome! The bite is very, very good!

I think it's the best brake pads I've used for the stock setup.

Didn't help - that's just all the marketing blurb that each manufacturer writes, no comparisons.
